"Lust, Caution" starlet Tang Wei was present at a press conference in Beijing on Monday as the latest endorser for Pond's skincare products.

Tang Wei's new endorsement earned her a bulky six million yuan (US$835,632), the Beijing Evening News reported.

The 28-year-old acting new-comer got a shot to fame after Ang Lee's "Lust, Caution" scored the best film award at last year's Venice Film Festival.

Rumors suggest Tang Wei has been invited to star in "Thangka," an upcoming film by "A Battle of Wits" director Jacob Cheung. When asked about her possibility for the project, Tang Wei gave an ambiguous answer, only saying her next character should be one that she really likes.
